Magic RAR Password Recovery is an application that helps you recover lost or forgotten passwords. The program is simple and it works only with RAR format files.
The program is very easy to use, but it takes a long time to recover a password. I waited more than 40 minutes to find three characters and the process still didn't come to an end. The good thing is that you can pause the operation at any moment, then continue later when you have more time.
As with other similar programs, you can define the searching criteria, namely the length of the password and the characters' type. For instance, if you remember that the password consists of digits, special symbols, uppercase or lowercase letters, you can reduce the searching area and implicitly the recovery time. Simultaneous choices are allowed to be checked. The trial version lets you recover passwords that have no more than three characters.
To be honest, I’m not very pleased with this program. It doesn't bring anything new compared to other related software. More than that, the recovery time was long enough to make me give up waiting for a result.
